Privacy Policy
Grayscale is designed to reduce distraction in Safari while keeping your data private. The app does not use accounts, analytics, trackers, or remote databases.
What Grayscale Stores
- Grayscale stores your app settings on your device so Safari can apply them.
- This includes whether grayscale is enabled and the websites in your whitelist.
- These settings are kept locally in Apple-provided app storage.
What Grayscale Does Not Collect
- We do not collect your browsing history.
- We do not collect website content.
- We do not collect passwords, form data, or messages.
- We do not collect analytics, diagnostics, advertising identifiers, or tracking data.
- We do not create or require an account.
How the App Works
Grayscale applies a visual grayscale effect in Safari and skips websites that you add to your whitelist. The extension only uses the minimum local settings needed to apply that behavior.
Payments
If you purchase Grayscale, payment is processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment card details.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share personal data because we do not collect personal data in the first place.
Your Control
You can disable the extension, clear your whitelist, or remove the app at any time. Removing the app deletes the app's locally stored settings from your device, subject to Apple's system behavior.
